This one-of-a-kind lamp comes from the personal collection of Lino Sabattini
The versatile and prolific Italian designeri is a master creator of cutlery and tableware. Sabattini’s designs are as beautiful and elegant as they are superbly crafted. Although entirely self-taught, Lino Sabattini established a studio in Milan in 1955. Lino Sabattini became more widely known through the links he forged with Gio Ponti, who was enthusiastic about Lino Sabattini’s designs and presented his metal objects to the public in “Domus” magazine in 1956 and also organized an exhibition in Paris that same year.
