Alessio Tasca (Nove, Italy 1929 - Heilbronn 2020) was an eclectic figure in the panorama of artistic craftsmanship, addressing both applied art and sculpture. Tasca attended the Art School of Nove, one of the most ancient ceramics districts in Europe. In 1961 he opened the "Ceramiche Alessio Tasca" atelier where he had been manufacturing design objects and sculptures for decades. He reinterpreted the principles of the Bauhaus and the School of Ulm, through his unique technique of extruded ceramic, creating pure, metaphysic shapes.
